Before opening its doors on Avenida de las Ciencias in Seville, La Casa de Obélix partnered with Kronikon to build a Greek street food concept ("Bar Griego / Comida Artesanal") that breaks away from standard hospitality tropes. In a region with a highly competitive restaurant market, success required instant structural recognizability, cultural clarity, and a magnetic personality. Our studio took creative control from day zero, establishing a comprehensive visual system centered around custom character-driven illustration, a vivid Mediterranean color language, and a robust digital marketing engine designed to turn passing street traffic and online scrollers into loyal everyday diners.

mascot development & brand system
- Engineered a friendly, oversized, and highly expressive cartoon-style mascot character—pairing an iconic figure with playful modern details like sunglasses and an "I ❤️ GREECE" t-shirt to establish immediate approachability.
- Paired the custom character illustration with bold, rounded typography to build a high-visibility typographic mark that stands out in busy, high-density urban environments.
- Formulated the brand's core positioning statement and subtitle: "Manos de Grecia, Sabores de Leyenda" (Hands of Greece, Flavors of Legend) to frame the restaurant's artisanal food focus.

- Grounded the brand identity in a bright, Mediterranean-inspired color palette that feels fun, loud, and full of flavor before customers even step inside.
- Systematized a clear six-tone palette architecture for uniform cross-media application:
- #D8AB42 (Vibrant Sun Gold) & #CF4E42 (Terracotta Red) to stimulate appetite and energy.
- #4A85A1 (Aegean Blue) & #4A8164 (Organic Green) to anchor the authentic Greek identity.
- #27262A (Charcoal Black) for high-contrast typography and #EFE9D7 (Warm Cream) as a soft, premium background canvas.

tactical print & spatial signage design
- Designed physical touchpoints including high-finish textured business cards detailing the core menu offerings (Carnes a la brasa, Empanadas, Crepes, Postres, Cervezas, Zumos naturales).
- Developed the physical outdoor menu architecture ("Carta" A-boards) with clear typographic hierarchies for rapid roadside reading.
- Executed the main exterior storefront design, implementing a custom illuminated lightbox sign that anchors the property’s presence at night.
- Carried the brand's signature humor into the interior space by designing custom illustrated wooden bathroom signage to distinctly differentiate the Hombres/Men and Mujeres/Women spaces with playful props.

- Produced immersive background narrative illustrations—such as the custom cartoon scene of the mascot playing traditional backgammon (tavli) in a Greek village square—to use as premium content assets across digital channels.
- Designed and deployed a fast, mobile-responsive web platform geared entirely for rapid menu exploration and direct localization findability.
- Assumed total management of ongoing social media channels and highly targeted geo-fenced digital ad campaigns to drive immediate foot traffic from opening week onward.
