THE BRIEF
putting sixty years of yarn on two sheets of paper.
Chesterfield Yarn Mills has been spinning in Pageland, South Carolina since 1958 — covered elastic and textured polyester yarns for the hosiery, medical, narrow-fabric, and textile makers who need them made close to home. With manufacturing moving back stateside, the mill had a timely story to tell and a range to show, and it needed to tell both in the two languages its customers speak. The brief was a pair of flyers — one for the company, one for the products — designed as a single system that reads as naturally in Spanish as in English.
WHAT WE DID

the company flyer
- Designed the mill's story sheet — sixty-plus years of heritage, the capabilities, and the reshoring pitch, composed around the yarn itself with photography held in a spool-inspired frame.
- Gave a heritage manufacturer a contemporary register — warm, confident, and cleanly sectioned — without losing the sense of a mill that has been doing this since 1958.

the products flyer
- Laid out the range as a buyer reads it — covered yarns, spandex, textured and hollow polyester — each line with its photography and the industries it serves.
- Built the sheet to work in a sales call as much as on a desk: the applications up front, the specifics where a technical buyer looks for them.

two languages, one system
- Designed both flyers as one layout system, then delivered each in English and Spanish — the type, spacing, and hierarchy tuned so neither language reads as the translation.
- Prepared all four pieces press-ready, full-bleed — files the mill could send straight to the printer.
THE OUTCOME
a heritage mill, presentable in two languages by the end of the month.
