THE BRIEF

Olympos Naoussa reopened on Nikis Avenue in 2022 after a 28-year silence, returning to a city that still remembered when the Daily Telegraph called it the best food in Greece. TOR Hotel Group inherited an identity that was ready to go — and a room that demanded everything downstream of it be held to the same standard. They asked Kronikon to become the design partner responsible for taking that identity into every menu, every campaign, every seasonal moment, and every issue of the Greek press. The partnership is now in its fourth year.
WHAT WE DID

menu & wine list system
- Designed an editorial menu system where each ingredient earns its own line — measured typography, considered whitespace, and a disciplined section rhythm.
- Established a monthly release cadence across the à-la-carte menu, the degustation menu, seasonal editions for every point on the Greek calendar, and a dedicated kids menu.
- Systematized every menu as a matched bilingual pair, so Greek and English read as first-class citizens of the same document.
- Extended the same discipline into the wine list, revised through multiple editions since the restaurant reopened.

- Curated a design language for every season on the Greek calendar — Christmas, Easter, Valentine's, Clean Monday, 25th of March — that reads unmistakably Olympos Naoussa across formats.
- Delivered each campaign as a coordinated kit spanning print, social, and web, keeping the restaurant present in every channel it needs to be.

- Placed the restaurant across the titles Thessaloniki reads to decide where to eat — Gastronomos, SANI Mag, Taste & Travel, and Greece is Thessaloniki.
- Composed each ad around one dish, one thought, and a Greek headline that trusts the reader — no exclamation points, no stock imagery.

- Designed identities for the Chef's Lab residency series, the Turkish Airlines × Olympos Naoussa collaboration, and every new-menu presentation event.
- Extended the restaurant's voice into vouchers, trifolds, and the small touches that turn a dining room into a brand guests can hold.

The 1926 seafront hotel that houses Olympos Naoussa on Thessaloniki's Thermaikos Bay — a Small Luxury Hotels of the World member, awarded 1 Michelin Key in 2025. The restaurant sits inside it alongside the ON Rooftop Bar and Tiger Loop, and Kronikon designs the collateral across the whole property.
